Background
David was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in 1965 having completed 5 years as an Articled Clerk with a firm of solicitors in Sydney CBD then known as Hill Thomson & Sullivan.
David then worked in the city for Beswick Heydon & Lochrin and became a junior partner of that firm prior to leaving on amicable terms in 1971, to join the legal firm of John Thomson & Co. as a partner.
The firm changed its name to Thomson Bentley & Partners and in 2005 David became a consultant thereof having retired as a partner.
In 2011 Thomson Bentley & Partners merged with Thurlow Fisher,
and at that time David also joined Thurlow Fisher, as a senior solicitor.

During his lengthy time in the practice of the law, David has been involved in nearly all of the facets of the legal system but now deals with matters of a Commercial nature, from commercial Leases, the buying and selling of businesses and advising on matters appertaining to the Corporations Law.
He also advises staff and clients on unusual and complicated issues concerning conveyancing and oversees a great deal of the Probate and Estate Planning along with Wills and other estate related matters.
